Start off 2023 in nature with a hike through the Clark Creek Natural Area and enjoy the forest, waterfalls, and good company!
We will meet at the Clark Creek trailhead at 10a.m. CST, just past Pond Store in Woodville, Mississippi.
This is a hike-at-your-own-pace adventure! We will hike to the first waterfall together and supply maps to everyone who wants to hike the creek, explore more of the trails, or make their way back to the trailhead. You’ll need $4 per vehicle for parking, 2 liters of water, energy bars, lunch, and a pair of hiking shoes with good grips. We also recommend hiking poles.
Please note this an advanced trail. While the hike to the first waterfall is mostly downhill, it is a very difficult uphill hike back to the trailhead. You need to be prepared to self-guide after we reach the first waterfall.
